WD was raised on a raw diet and I continued it but also introduced him to good quality kibble brands to feed about once every three days. Now he refuses to eat his MBs and buries them. Any ideas besides tough love? His teeth are fine, well aligned and he chews other stuff with ease.

This is something I have wondered about with a raw diet as I have had dogs who were not interested in raw meat at all, but wanted it cooked, same with bones. Anyway I do feed kibble so I can't help you with trying to get your WD back to the raw diet. But I would just continue the kibble since it is good quality. Hopefully others who feed raw can help.

Raw meat does not have as strong of a smell as cooked and hasn't been sprayed with nice appealing oils like most kibbles (plus, kibble is also cooked). Even our noses can tell the difference. If you want to continue to feed him raw you may need to remove the kibble.

Like Lisa said, kibble is like candy for dogs. It's been enhanced SO much - just so it's appealing to them. You might want to stop with the kibble.
Another thought. My dogs eat at their bowls. They are not allowed to take anything away from their bowl so there's no hiding things or hoarding things for "later". I feed my dogs exactly what they need for each meal - no more. If my dogs were to take things away from their bowls I would rethink the amount I'm giving them. A dog that takes things and buries them for later is being overfed (IMHO).

WD is on the skinny side and not overfed by any means. I guess he has to tough it out. How do you teach him to keep his MB in his bowl? I feed him on the lawn. The only thing I can think of is to remove the MBs when he doesn't seem to be interested or is guarding them, making me the bad "guy"
