Default weirdness & warning

For those of you who feed hearts.....If you feed also the coronary arteries coming into the heart......be very aware.....

Kitchi had had a meal about 1/2 hour ago....kept chewing, chewing...thought he had a bit of fat stuck in his back teeth.....looked closer....he had somehow got his tongue stuck IN the artery....it was way back on his tongue and his tongue was purple....after a bit of wrangling and tooth and nail scratches, I was able to get a safety scissors around the artery and cut it loose.

His tongue is now back to its beautiful pink softness. THANK GOD I looked!!! He could have lost his tongue!!!

Thanx! When I figured out what the problem was, I nearly freaked! I'm sure my panic didn't help calm him from squirming and scratching.

Hahaha.....nearly? Yeah, I kinda freaked.

Wow, what type of heart? Beef or small poultry is all I ever feed, and the beef is too large for a meal...poultry artery would be too small for that to happen. Something to think about for sure.
