Default Couple of questions and a picture (viewer discretion is advised)

First of all my pup has been having runny poop since yesterday, I gave him a whole rabbit the night before and he might have over eaten. he wouldnt eat anything yesterday except a couple of kibbles that he stole form the other pups bowl (not mine thats why not raw fed).

Anyways, his vet has prescribed him Falgyl before based on nothing but 1 time loose stool after going to the beach and drinking sea water so I never gave it him but I have it. should i put him a flagyl course and feed tripe along with it or just ignore and hope it was just due to over feeding?
Today he only pooped once this morning and it was loose too at the begining than firmed up a bit at the end.

The other question is he's taking his sweet time eating the piece of tripe I just gave him, having a hard time chewing through it, should i cut it to smaller pieces or just let him do all the work? he's almost 4 months old if it matters.

And a nice picture of freshly slaughtered sheep tripe I got today

I am thinking you over fed him. At 4 months I, personally, would feed him 2-3 times per day so that rabbit would have been cut in 1/2 or even in quarters and fed in a few meals.

That is a HUGE chunk of tripe. I am used to looking at it ground. LOL

He eats twice a day, his choice, he usually self regulates and it was a smaller than usual rabbit so I gave it whole and he went through it all though normally he leaves some that i give him at the next meal.

It is huge and the smell ewwwww!! took an hour to clear the air at my apartment before hubby came home.
