Default Is this ok?

Background: As a few regulars have read, I have just started Titan on a raw diet. He has been doing alright. I have had problems getting him to eat Chicken, I have come to find out he just doesn't like raw chicken or anything with a chicken like texture.. no raw fish or anything like that unless it's seared. I have the cut ALMOST all the meat off a chicken quarter or drumstick, leaving a good layer and sear it for a few seconds to get the smell and he will chow down on the bones.. but only if it's seared and I sit with him in the room while he eats.. If I am not in his vicinity, he will eat everything except the bone.. weirdest thing. I was able to chop up Chicken liver and Chicken gizzards and "hide" it in his ground meats and he's good to go. He is 2 years old and between 97-100 lbs.

Now my question: Is the following menu ok to feed as a "balanced" diet?

Currently I have him eating this at every meal:

8.5 oz of Ground turkey or ground beef
8.5 oz of Chicken Quarters (slightly de-boned, with both the meat and the bone, still with a little meat on it, seared.
1 oz or so of Chicken Liver and Gizzards.
Alternates between: 1 egg with shell in the morning or 1 oz of Sardines at night
1200 mg Fish Oil pill every other day in one meal.

If I can't get him to eat the chicken bones in the morning due to timing.. he just gets more bones in his dinner and less ground meats.

Please let me know if I should be adding or taking away something. I am in the market for Green Tripe but have had no luck so far finding it. Any advice on new things to try? He tried Talapia this morning and wanted nothing to do with it. I haven't tried searing it yet. I think because it has the same texture as raw chicken he doesn't want it. Any other fish I could be trying? He likes Sardines.. I think because it's smelly. He's a VERY picky eater so keep that in mind too.

Thanks in advance for the advice.

Whitney

Since he doesn't like chicken, see if he will eat turkey or maybe rabbit. Have you tried chicken backs? The bones are much softer and maybe he can learn to chew bone that way. I would suggest pork neck, but some dogs don't do well with pork and I hate to start a dog off on these denser bones. My dogs LOVE pork neck.

My dogs won't eat raw fish so I gave up on that ages ago. I have a couple that won't eat rabbit, but love mutton, pork, beef, chicken, turkey, and duck. Nike doesn't always like chicken, but usually once she realizes nothing else is coming she will eat it. LOL

For me that looks like a lot of MM and not enough bone, but I have never measured or weighed food.

I would up the fish oil to 3-4000 mg /day for his size dog.
