Hi guys...I'm back again...LOL like my previous post since we are getting deer scrap and found access to bulk chicken/meat we bought a grinder. We are trying to save money then buying premade cases at $55 a case for 15 tubes that last 5 days for us with 3 dogs all at 2lbs per day.
For those of you who make your own raw diets at home do you add any vitamins, supplements, oils etc on a daily basis to your home made diets? For the premade tubes I was doing either olive oil or sardines in oil, apple cider vinegar and granulated garlic and a probiotic. Now that we will be mainly making the dogs meals should I add in a daily vitamin or any supplements? I tried researching on previous posts but IDK if my search is not working or I was looking up the wrong stuff bc I couldn't find anything. Also those who make home raw do you grind any veggies into your foods? My friend grinds carrots but alot of reading I have done says to gind leafy greens like kale into the mixes. I know there is a huge controversy about dogs needing veggies...I've read both sides just curious what everyone here does. Right now for the diet we have access to obviously the deer scrapes (heart/liver/lungs/shoulders/trachea/ fat/scrap and bones, chicken backs, pork necks, beef kidney, chicken feet, beef, pork hearts, beef/pork livers, chicken hearts/gizzards. I also give my guys once/twice a week marrow bones with meat still on it as a relaxing chew. Thanks

I use Longevity by Springtime, Inc. as a joint supplement and as a digestion aid.
I feed sardines 3x per week.
