* What is BARF??????????

Ok, I noticed a whole subforum here dedicated to this "Barf". Are people supposed to know what it is? You'd think there'd be a sticky at the top of the page such as "Facts about Barf".... or something of the nature.
Anyone elaborate what exactly it is?
