Ive had my male on raw (mosly chicken) for about 5 months. It is great and it does wonders for him.
My only irritation is that his burbs smell the worst! Is this normal? People clear the room when he burps... What do ya think? |

Fairly normal - I have noticed if I've fed a fatty or very large meal the burps get worse. Pork seems to be a big culprit and sometimes chicken if there's a lot of skin on it.
I was at the vet's with Kessy a month or so ago and she was burping. The receptionist whipped out the Oust air freshener and started complaining about how it smelled like dirty diapers in there and that it must have been a toddler that someone had just left with. I told her nope...I think it's my dog...but she didn't believe me. I don't think it smells like dirty diapers but it is ROTTEN. |

I know what you're talking about here! Not that dry dog food burps smell nice, but its definitely not this bad. lol
So, do you not smell "room clearing" farts? I often wake up in the middle of the night and leave the room to go to the bathroom. When I come back in the room it smacks me in the face, and I know that Dakota's been passing gas. I either have to open windows, spray something, or use carpet powder to vacuum up in the morning!
