![]() I found kidneys on sale for about $1.00 a piece. So I bought twelve of them. Ground up 60# of chicken quarters, 30# ground beef, 10# pork steaks, 6# chicken livers and a dozen cans of peas and carrots. The kidneys smelled like pee. ![]() The boys love it!

Yes, kidney stinks. I used to be able to get it free. Never bothered me to feed it, but I tried to use it for tracking bait and only tried ONCE. The smell was horrible.
Why the peas and carrots especially canned which usually has added salt?
