Default Some CPE Runs from this Weekend

Brought in the New Year at an agility trial - what better place?! This video has runs by Whimsy, Ziggy and even one by the "old man" Jagger...

Nice runs! How nice to have someone to record all those!

That jumpers course at the beginning with Whimsy sure seemed cyclical! Going through the back tunnel three times! Wow... Weird course. I spotted the blind cross with Ziggy (who, I agree with MRL, sure is fast) and thought it was a nice move. Then I saw you use it plenty more and I thought "how Trkman-esk" of you! lol! Nice runs!

Thanks! Ziggy is crazy LOL He's 8 1/2 and he is what he is. He has no sort of reliable contact behavior and is wild. His good runs are really, really good though. He ran his jumpers course in over 5 yps - not bad for an 8 1/2 year old corgi! He's my husband's dog that has been very fun and very challenging for me to run this year.

And yeah...that jumpers course was interesting. I liked running it though. This judge really had a thing for that sort of set up - loops and serpentines. The Trkman-esk comment made me smile. I try hard to keep moving and not babysit the dog on the things I know they know. My natural tendency is want to do rear crosses and to wait and watch for the dog to get to certain spots. Old habits are hard to break but I think I'm getting better

I'm working on Whim's contact skills in training but not ready to test them in trials just yet. Soon though. Now we all need to practice weave entries. And I just happen to be picking up a set of 12 metal based poles tomorrow - for $50!!!!!

And the main recorder was one of my 4Hers who got her C-ATCH this weekend!!!
