Default 1.5 year old Male dog and kid aggressive.

Gunner was a sweet puppy but as he's gotten older, he's become extremely dog aggressive towards dogs that walk by, approach the fence, or that he sees at the park. Any animal such as a cat or small rodent is fair game too. He also does not like small children even though he was exposed to them as a pup. He hasn't been neutered yet and I asking all you experienced GSD owners, if you think this will help curve the aggression....

I'm not sure if neutering helps with behavior at all. I was told that after the procedure (1 1/2 yr), he will be less hyper. Nope, after the anesthesia wore off...he's his old hyper self again.

It takes some time for any behavior issues to resolve themselves if they are resolved at all.

I would think that you really need to get with a trainer and work consistently to get his aggression under control. Neutering may help curb some dog aggression but not all. And I would doubt it would help a whole lot with especially kid aggression.

Find a trainer.

neuter should help with the dog aggression but you have to train the dog too
with the kid aggression it wont help much if at all
