Default New Membership Programs

Hi everyone,

Sorry for the late response on this. As most of you know, we added a link near your login box to allow members to upgrade their memberships.

If you don't see the link, you can access it here:

Firstly, upgrading your membership IS NOT MANDATORY. You can continue to enjoy using this site for free 100%.

The link provides the perks or bonuses an upgraded membership will enjoy.

The only part I want to draw your attention to is the "VENDOR" membership. If you are a small business owner and would you like to sell your products or services here, this is what you will need to sign up for.

Any questions or comments or concerns you have, feel free to ask away...

How do I make it go away?

I want it to say "View your threads" or "View your posts" again

In the main navigation bar, click on the "Search" link. You should see a dropdown menu appear and links are provided to find your posts and threads.

I am a full time ebay and amazon seller (ebay seller ID joewy)

I am guessing animal care products only can be sold? I will look into it more through the site here. If I get any in my inventory I might consider it.

As long as what you're selling doesn't violate the spirit of this community (i.e. no selling of pets for sure)...

How does the free membership differ from what we already have? Was there anything taken away? Anything added?

Most of the "perks" or bonuses are tech related: more PM storage space, bigger avatars, more file uploads...things of that nature. To my knowledge, we did not reduce anything drastically on the free accounts (if anything at all).

Will vendors have one spot to advertise? Or will they be allowed to spam our PM's and place posts anywhere they want for advertising?

Also, for paid members, you will still be expected to behave in the manner a non-paid member behaves. There are no special treatment or privileges for paid members in terms of behavior. If you choose to upgrade your membership or if you're a new user and you purchased a paid membership, you are expected to follow the rules and behave in the same manner as everyone else. The admins and mods will continue to moderate this site as per the norm.
