If an admin/mod has never PM'ed you, it means they didn't read your post and/or they did but it didn't step over the boundaries of the rules on this board.

Agree with your comments on cliques.

As for the political topics discussions, I will talk to the admins/mods about it. No promises. On a site I frequent as a user, the owner added a political forums area to the site and all stuff broke loose. Wasn't a pretty sight.

I don't have much interest in politics so didn't participate too much but quite frankly but the political threads used to be fun to read. I think that most of the people who choose to involve themselves in political threads tend to be of a fairly think-skinned breed. The problem (to me) seems to be when people chose to play the "victim". I say If you can't hang with the big dogs, go play in the kidde pool.

Perhaps if some really firm ground rules were laid out?

Hey...I like most of your posts crs996!
And I agree about the "clique" being more of a member thing...rather than a mod/administrator thing.
Usually, people with the same "thought" process, post similar.
There's always someone on the dog forums that display the "do as I say...not as I do"....it's just the way it is.
The forums are just a group of people's opinions, some are based on trial & error....others are based on personal beliefs & choices.
Take what you can positively learn from, and leave the rest....
...and this is just MPO.

Really? I honestly thought it was just the timing of the day. Put it this way: if I was going to ban the so-called "bad apples" (your term), I would have done so already in the two other threads that were active last night.

If you have something to say, just say it. Stop beating around the bush and stop stirring the pot with references to users as "teacher's pet". It doesn't do anything productive for what we're trying to address here. I have no patience for this kind of behaviour.

And who would the "bad apples" and "teachers pets" be? You've been here less than a month. Are you truly qualified to make such judgments? Have you read the thousands of posts on this forum to make an informed decision on such an opinion?
