I am working on a change in the Forum today. I will post when it is completed, so don't panic if you notice a change. I will fill in the blanks when it is all set up.

New Section
You will see a new Section above the Rescue area. The new section is called “PB or Mix Rescue Posts - Review section”. Recently there has been an increase of questions if a dog is Purebred or not. For those who were sending a PM to Mod or Admin, you won’t have to do that any more. This will hopefully make things run smoother for those types of threads. This is important that you remember this point, once you have submitted your post you will see a window pop up that looks like this. Quote:
Posting Information: Since you will not be able to edit the original post, please include the Shelter link and contact information along with a picture(s). Also make sure that your subject line is correct, there are still some people who are not posting in the correct format, many times this will result in a duplicate post. Just to Recap: SUBJECT LINE - - It is important that you follow the guideline for the subject line; it cuts down on Duplicate Posts, which seem to be on the rise again. Here is the format: City, State - ID # and Name, Sex and age, any other detail you would like to give. Please give City if known instead of County. Also do not use ….. in the subject line. Without any spaces it messes up the left boxes forcing the main section to be much smaller. When posting a dog, if you have the Petfinder, DogsInDanger, or any other website, post a link to the Pet or to the Main listing page. It takes too much time if you don’t follow up for someone to have to search those sites looking for the dog. If your post doesn’t not appear you can assume it wasn’t approved by the Admins. In addition any Purebred GSD or not posts that are not dogs of the member posting will be deleted. Some members think posting these dogs is a way around the Purebred rule of the board and to get exposure for the dogs. It will not be tolerated any more. The Admins. |

Thanks, should make it easier for people to get the answer back if the dog is a GSD and have them able to be posted (or not).
