When Hans was little he was on leash, tethered to me, crated, or in an expen. He did not have access to my kids to use them as chew toys.
Now he is older and is their best buddy. But he had to mature and grow out of mouthy crazy pup behaviors before he had house freedom.
that too. tethering is a good idea anyway because while your pup is still house training and learning what is allowed to chew on and what's not, at least tethered to you, they're not going far and you can correct more easily.
