definitely read the puppy section. His behavior is not unusual for the breed and he's typical for his age. Some pups are more stubborn than others about who they'll be more inhibited with when it comes to general behavior.
Remember well "A tired puppy is a good puppy". Look into getting him into some obedience classes when he's about 12-16 weeks old. Also make sure he's getting sufficient and appropriate for his age exercise. A tired puppy both mentally and physically is more likely to behave themselves, especially around children they view as playmates. They know there is an age difference between you and the kids. You are the strict enforcer while the kids are an engaging source of entertainment with just how they move and sound.
