Default Licking ice?

Just wondering if this could be harmful. I take all the crumbs from his kibble, biscuits, and other snacks, mix it with a little bit of water/chicken broth, throw in a tiny piece of chicken and freeze them into ice cubes. I usually just give them to him as treats and he crunches right through it. He's 4 months and I THINK starting to teeth. But sometimes I stuff it into his Kong toy and he'll lick at it til its small enough to fall out. Just wondering, is it potentially harmful for him to lick at the ice for, say.. 5-10 minutes? Im Just thinking... if i were to lick an ice cube for 10 minutes, my tongue would get pretty sore!
