If those are big cut knuckle bones they should be fine for a recreational bone...they mostly carve out the marrow and then lose interest over time.

I can't imagine why they would be bad for either dog....great pic of the pup !

The only concern I have ever heard of is relating to smoked knuckle bones....some have said not to give a dog much if any of smoked products....even though I see them at the pet store all the time.

The bag o' bones in the picture looks fine to me.
