I'd call the groomer and be blatantly honest and direct... and relay the same info you did in your post. I might try and make it obvious that you are not interested in finding a "culprit" but more the reason for your dog's limping......because that is what you are most concerned about..... Dogs get gimpy sometimes for crazy reasons but I am not ruling out a mishap at the groomers....hopefully all is well and your concern will be tempered soon enough....but..I don't blame you for being concerned...I'd be a liar to say I wouldn't be....I get nervous every time I see my shep take a spill running something down.
