Advocate for Dogs

This is a hypothetical question based on a conversation (read argument), with a colleague.

She insisted that there would be nothing wrong with giving Advocate for a +25kg (55lbs) dog such as my GSD x Husky, to my 14 week old GSD who weighs 15kg (33lbs). She argued that she did it with her Dane and her rescue pup and I don't need to buy two separate sizes. I bought two separate sizes if anyone is concerned!

I argued that it could poison the puppy, but I wasn't sure exactly what would happen with an overdose. What could happen?

btw I am referring to Advocate that does fleas, lice etc + heartworm
