Default Nutrena Loyall Brand?

Emailing back and forth with the breeder we're looking at, he feeds the Nutrena Loyall puppy and adult food. Obviously we're not going to just switch the food outright, but I had really never heard of this brand.

Anyone have feedback on it?

I've fed many kinds of kibble, from low to high end and my dogs have always seemed to do better on a mid range (we've fed the Kirkland signature for years after my old GSD had terrible trouble with Nutro Natural). In addition I've almost never fed puppy food to GSD's unless it was Large Breed Puppy food.
