I cannot crate Allie. That's where a lot of her first 6 months were spent, in a crate, alone with nothing to do for hours on end. It would set her back months, I have no doubts of this. It took me weeks to break her from wallowing in her own mess.
It breaks my heart to think of the wasted potential in Allie due to her first few months being so bad. She is going to be a fine animal once I figure out how to display/explain to her that she will never be ignored again.
I suppose I could try and re-introduce her slowly to a crate, but my gut tells me she will freak out.
