There is nothing the vet can do now anyways. I would just keep an eye on him and watch for unusual behavior. Glad he got it out or down.
If he starts vomiting, develops an enlarged belly, becomes lethargic, begins salivating profusely or panting hard for no apparent reason I would head to the vet.
I was told by my vet to watch him. I took him in anyway and was told he will be fine after examining his eyes.
