So you can make it not fun, by ignoring, or walking in the other direction.
If the dog is going to be in danger, RUN in the other direction- at 4 months your pup should come running right after you!
Working on recall
is important, but yours is just trying to play like blanketback said. So don't get offended or frustrated at your pup.
Something you can work on for training for this, is having a super yummy treat on you. Chicken, freeze dried liver treats, or whatever he likes. And everytime you call him give this to him, and even ask him to sit or down.
And than get him. So he gets to work and have treaties in the process. So its just as fun as playing "try and get me!" game.
I went through the same thing. In fact mine still does it sometimes at 11 months, if she grabs something she knows she is not supposed to have and she see's me coming and she gets that look and then usually runs in the opposite direction. (But i say, "EH! SPIT IT!") and she does and still runs away haha Just something to work on
