I just had an incident where Hunter got past me at the front door and darted to the street. Usually it just takes a bit of coaxing and he's back inside. This time there was a car approaching and as it passed he sprinted after it barking. I kept yelling come as loud as I could and he stopped to look at me for a second before returning his attention to the car. Luckily the driver was paying attention and stopped to let me catch up and pick him up, but I am worried that he may not be so lucky in the future. When I picked him up all of his hair on his back was standing straight up. Is there anything I can do to stop car chasing? I know just making sure he doesn't get out is a good step but in case it does happen again in the future I want to be prepared.
