... and our now 11.5wk white GSD. Her name is Luna, and she is our first GSD though not our first dog.
We got her from the breeder at 8wks. It's been an amazing, sometimes trying, slightly scarring and bloody but deliriously joyful experience so far getting her acclimatized to our place, our lives and this mortal coil in the general sense.
I've been lurking the last few weeks and learned a TON. Mostly what I have taken away is that the most critical part of raising a GSD is knowing when to listen to the dog, and really trying to understand her. Developing real 2-way communication improves the experience for both of us to be sure and radically improves the training process.
Anyway, thanks to everyone and I will certainly contribute whenever possible...
Here's our little white whackjob
at about 9 weeks.
P.S. The post title is an Austin Powers quote.
