Ok have to vent. Last nite I was outside with Ammo. We don't have a fenced yard so he has a tie out that I use when I take him out. Last nite while we were outside he heard some coyotes, for the first time. He started going nuts because they were kind of close. I didn't realize the lead he was tied on was wrapped around my ankle so when he lunged toward the sound he gave me a pretty bad rope burn.
Trying to make light of it I posted about it in Facebook. Today I took a picture of the burn next to Ammo, see below, and posted it with a dorky comment. On of my "friends" made a comment about how he should be used to it if he was an outside dog. I commented back that Ammo wasn't an outside dog and slept inside with us. This was his reply backů"He should be outside more I would think. Arent you worried that he will wreck your moms house when he hears things?"
It really pisses me of that he seems to think he knows more about my dog than I do. Yes we are living in my mom's house. She bought it but hasn't moved here yet so we are keeping the place for her till she gets here. My mom knows he is in the house and is very much ok with it, she loves Ammo. Also Ammo is awesome inside. He has never "wrecked" anything with the exception of his crate. Where does he get off telling me what I should and should not do with my dog?
Ok end of vent.
