I'm sorry kessy isn't well
I do agree about talking to Lisa..
Is she still on the antibiotic? I will fathom a guess here, it's the anaplasmosis, and it hasn't been treated long or aggressive enough..
I know Lisa will most likely have much better suggestions than I, but I would add milk thistle to her diet..
What dosage is she on with the antibiotic.?
My dogs are chronic for anaplasmosis, when Masi was 'clinical', her kidney / liver function/values were not good, don't have the paperwork in front of me, but I put her on liver aid and milk thistle, plus the doxy..I do 5mgs per body weight, twice a day for atleast 2 months...I then wait 3 months if all is looking good and redo my bloodwork/kidney/liver function, which was back within normal range..
This year, at our annual, she again came up postiive for anaplasmosis (the dog has NEVER been negative
, she wasn't clinical, but I put her on doxy anyhow..I haven't retested, because there is no point, she's always going to be positive for it, and right now she is not clinical, so when I see something "off" I throw her back on the doxy , but it's rare I see her 'off...
Ok, done rambling, just some things to think about
