I've had GSDs a long time and I disagree with the "one master" only idea.
IMO, If this dog is going to be part of the family, it should obey other people in the house. Not JUST you.
They are dogs. GSDs need good leadership, proper training and a clear understanding of ranking order. Manners and obedience are a must in any household.
As far as loving you the most
, be prepared. Sometimes THEY pick which person to bond with most.
Even though I'm the trainer, feeder, and do everything for my dogs...they tend to gravitate to the one person that doesn't do these things.
Not a problem for me.
If trained properly, the dog will listen to you, respect you AND love you as well.
Shouldn't be a "just mine" dog, especially with other family members in the house.
Just my opinion.
