Might. Might not. Might just change how your puppy views anything that looks or smells like that breed, might change how your puppy views anything that has the same energy or carries itself the same way. Might cause your puppy to become reactive or dog aggressive to all other dogs. You'll be answering that question for yourself soon, as we can't do it for you because there are a lot of things like temperament, genetics, how you reacted, etc that play into it.
Socialization doesn't require you to allow the puppies to actually interact, and there are many out there who would advise you to not allow them to interact with dogs they won't have to get along with on a regular basis such as dogs that are housemates. Many people are in the play with your dog or engage with your dog in the presence of other dogs, don't actually allow them to engage with the other dog camp, and you pretty much discovered why.
