Thanks for the advice. I googled tipping dog sitters after I posted this thread. It seems that since my sitters work for a company and do not get the full amount I pay I should be tipping them. The site said a minimum of 15% (ouch!). That is like $100 for the summer dog watchers. Does that seem too high?
Evidently your daughter doesn't get a tip because she works for herself and gets the full fee. Hmmm? Not sure I agree with that.
