Excessively Vocal Cat
My Mister has always been a very vocal cat. But since his diabetes arose he is more vocal than usual. It's almost non stop and I think it's to the point where his throat gets dry and he wants to drink water constantly. It doesn't bother me or upset me. I just worry--could he be in pain or something? I usually give in to his meowing and give him food or pet him and he quiets down for a while but as soon as I stop paying attention to him it begins again. If I look at him he meows even more. His meow sounds different when he is with his friends in his cat room and when he is in the house with us.
I posted this same question on the Feline Diabetes Forum. I think they always think the worst case scenario which is fine, bless them. But what do you think?
Thoughts? Concerns? Comments? Suggestions?
