Kaiser has an odd behavior that I've noticed for a while but just got around to posting about. When he lays down for snuggles or belly rubs he always starts on his belly or side. When he is reeeeally into the lovin he will roll onto his back playgirl style (lol) for belly and neck rubs. Thing is, this barely lasts a minute as he always grunts a few times and generally ends up sneezing, which means he's back up off his back.
Now, I know most dogs love belly rubs and many prefer them while laying on their back in all sorts of silly positions. Kaiser is about 78lbs but lean so there's no "extra pressure"that his body shouldn't be able to handle. Comparatively speaking, Dakota is 75 and never does this behavior (she prefers standing belly rubs, but on the rare occasional she offers a laying down belly up snuggle she's never grunted or sneezed).
Kaiser is in great health otherwise. Thoughts?
