Hi Fiza, welcome to the forum.
That sounds like plenty of exercise for your dog - being in an appartment should not be a problem as long as he is getting out for walks and runs like you are doing.
If you come back from a walk/run and he is tired, then that is a good exercise session for him.
When he sees you going someowhere and gets excited - can you describe his behaviour? I don't know if it is separation anxiety, or if he is just getting excited because he thinks he is going with you for another run.
The walking/running is great, but your dog probably needs to get his brain exercised also to really tire him out. A 15 to 20 minute training session for basic obedience and for fun tricks can really give their brain a workout and help him settle in the house.
Hero is lucky to have you! Welcome to the forum, and post pics if you can, Hero sounds like a very nice dog that will make a great fit for you!
