i take the pup out and let it potty. then we play and train a little.
i bring the pup in and let him settle down for a hour. then we train
again. after that it's time for breakfast. now i let the food settle
for a hour then it's training time again. now he's free to roam around
under a watchfull eye. then it's crate training time. i got my pup when
he was 9 weeks old. the real training started at 4 months old. untill
then is was more of socializing, house training (includes potty training
and how to behave in the house), crate training, leash training, "come",
teaching him his name, etc.
My dog is a yr. old, I am not talking about the 'around the house' training. We are doing that off and all day long
Thankfully, we are past the potty training and crate training days!
I am talking about training where she will be running/jumping for an hr. or longer at a time. I am mostly worried about bloat.
