A friend of mine took these pics from a couple of weekend ago - I haven't done anything with Gryff for close to a year, but pulled him out of the closet and dusted him off for a 3 day protection seminar - doesn't look like he was all that rusty.
BIG thank you to my friend Nicole L'Italien for taking these great shots:
Hold and Bark:
Out and Guard:
Some really snappy heeling from Gryff as we are heading down the field for the long bite.
Ready to launch!
Will you give me that sleeve already!
I was very happy with him for the entire 3 days. Still have some minor details to polish up, but he did very well overall.
Edited to add: Comment from the helper who is a National Level Helper: we were discussing the 'extremes' in working dogs, from sharp and hyper to very high threshhold dogs whose defense is difficult to bring out, and he said that Gryffon was in the middle of the two extremes, and very nice dog to work because of that balance.
