Starting agility again...for the 100th time
I just keep getting drawn back to agility. Tara and I are starting another class tomorrow. We haven't done any agility since a seminar in the spring earlier this year. After that I swore off agility for awhile to focus on nose work. Now that we have our NW1, I'm going to try again, hoping to arm myself with some calming/relaxing tactics before going into it. Getting to the agility field had become a trigger for stress/anxiety, which is part of the reason I'd stopped (in addition to being short on time). I want this time to be different, so I'm going to try using lavender, breathing techniques and do yoga beforehand to try and alleviate the stress before it happens. Any other ideas?
