Never had the need to go on a diet, till now. And it works! in the past if I had to lose a few pounds I just upped the exercise, never changed diet and got job done. Ever since quitting smoking I gained 8 lbs in 8 months and decided to give calorie counting a try to lose the 8 lbs.
So being a gadget guy I did some research and d-loaded an app called "lose it" on my phone 5 days ago. Entered weight and my target in the time I wanted to achieve it, bingo I get a daily cal intake to achieve the goal. Researched my fav food cal and portions and been eating the same but a bit less, lost 2.2 lbs in 5 days! Keeping a daily log, curious to see if the downward trend continues for the remaining 5.8
Seems too easy!
