Not sure I understand the question. Your puppy needs drive building to stay engaged and you want to know how to keep the prey drive she has at home carried over during training?
How old is your puppy?
Most pups are better off with food rewards for training/learning so the drive level is a bit lower but still enough the pup is engaged.
Building drive and capping it is the next level to make positions faster after the dog understands what is expected.
Ball on a string or a two handle tug is what I use for this, and it is probably more exercise for me than my dog, because I'm running backwards, away from the dog, we do restrained recalls and alot of teasing up, tugging during a training session.
