Took Ralphie for a nice walk at a forest preserve, but they were re-surfacing the path (blacktop path) with oil and tar. They did it within the past couple of days and as soon as I realized that what looked like mud (it rained last night) wasn't actually mud, we walked on the grass on the side of the path, but he still has tar stuck on the fur between the pads of his feet and some splatters on his belly. I have tried with no success: Dawn dish soap, olive oil, and coconut oil. Some Google searches said to use WD-40, but I don't feel comfortable putting that on my dog
! I'm going to call the vet in the morning and check with them, but I figured I'd try in here, too, for suggestions. Thanks in advance!
