Thank you so much for your reply! We started with a short duration then moved onto a short distance. If I'm standing right in front of him, I feel he could hold it forever. He's very attentive. I've added some distance (maybe 10-12 feet) and he still does great. I guess just take it slow and watch his cues? I think distraction would be the last to add.
