Not recently ... but Tex was my champion destroyer!!! He taught me a lot about behavior, how to train dogs, CRATE TRAINING, etc. but it was a very expensive lesson:
In the early 80's ... $5,000 of damage done to the house including holes in the carpets down to the sub-flooring, he stripped a couch down to the bare wood frame in an afternoon, draperies were shredded, my mattress had a hole large enough that I could stick my head down into it and see the floor. Fortunately I turned the electricity off everytime I left the house ... lucky I did because one day he destroyed a lamp ... an electric clock ... an electric radio. He did a bunch of other stuff too.
I can't recall how much this cost, but he also ate part of my car including pulling all the wiring out from underneath the dash, somehow chewed the rear window deofgger, chewed knobs, etc.
And there were other things like destroying a new camera, chewing up clothing, etc.
I learned a lot from Tex .... I've always said I earned a PhD in raising dogs/puppies from what he taught me what NOT to do!!! Expensive, but well worth the education!!!
