I think sometimes when we intervene it only makes matters worse for the victims afterward, so unless we can be sure we are really are going to be able to make permanent impact it's best to walk on...tough as that can be. People who beat their dogs and kids in public are that much more likely to do it again at home, blaming the victims for making them look bad when they were caught beating them in public. This is probably so true.. I will try and remember this. I haven't had to witness someone abusing a dog in a long time. However, my dad got very angry at one of our family dogs when i was a kid, he was really hurting her. But i told him what i thought even though i was crying and scared to and no one else was saying anything! I cannot stand for it! I just cant! So uncalled for to take frustration or anger out on an animal or ANYONE. It gets my blood boiling and i unleash my words.
What if we unleashed our video cameras?
