My mom is almost 86, she lives with my sister (who's never there half the time) still does well in most aspects of life, but she does forget sometimes, or repeats things that she's already told me, asked me.
I would say it's kinda normal? Maybe get her a date book and write all important dates down for her, so she can refer to it??
My mom writes EVERYTHING down, like a daily diary kind of thing..Your mom sounds pretty great for her age..I would think if she feels good, is doing fine with daily life, I'd chaulk it up to normal aging process..
Heck I can't even remember my anniversary LOL
No I haven't mentioned it yet. Just thinking about a tasteful way to bring it up. Having her write or even me write down special dates on a calendar or in a date book sounds like a good idea. I've already told her not to worry about her math as she can still use a calculator, just can do 25-12 in her head.
