Purposely passed up my shot at fame!
Ok, well, maybe not a REAL shot at fame. However, we have a little theater here in town, its small, but cozy, anyways, a local director was going to be doing a play of "our town" and I went and auditioned.
I have NEVER done anything like this before, ever. But, I wanted to at least try, so I did, and I did pretty good. I am proud of myself for trying though. I ended up emailing the director and asked him to take me out of the running, I got to looking at the dates, and the date of one of the plays falls on the 14 of Sept. Well, that is the same day as Pagan Pride Day, and it is something that has been being planned for months. I am helping with it, and will be running the kids table, helping with vendors who need it and helping where I can with the rituals. Almost all of my friends will be there and I gave my word I would help, they are already short staffed as it is, so I can't not go. Plus, I look forward to this all year every year.
I don't even know if I was cast for a part, I never asked. Ah well, its one thing I can cross off my bucket list. At least I went and tried!
