My knee is wrenched -- did that a few weeks ago. And getting in and out of the Honda has been so bad, I have been driving the SUV. I tell you the truth, getting up off the hard vet floor with that knee was murder too.

They want you to know everything before you ever breed a litter, but if you wait too long, you will be too old to jump out the window to save a pup that got itself in a jam, to spend half the day dragging kennel panels into your whelping room to set up a puppy-play area, and to spend the night on a very-hard half-bench or on the concrete floor with your bitch, or to drive in the rain at night 2.5 hours, stay up all night, and then drive 2.5 hours without falling asleep and killing everyone with your giant car that is easier on your wrenched knee.

Not that I am complaining or anything, but I think last night was probably the first time that I thought a husband-thing might actually come in handy.
