Default Kitchener-Waterloo, ON meet and greet!

Hello everyone!

A new group has formed in the Kitchener-Waterloo area!

We are welcoming all GSD owners to come out and participate in our events! We have group walks, group training sessions, group socialization trips and support one another through training and trialing.

Some of our members are involved in various sports and venues as well.

We already have a great group of people and are always looking for others with the same passion for the breed as us!

Membership is free!

K-W German Shepherd Club - Home

The K-W German Shepherd club promotes responsible German Shepherd dog ownership, training and breeding in our community. Our members act as ambassadors for the breed, while we promote the German Shepherd dog through education and positive exposure!

We train and compete together as a club in multiple venues such as obedience, Schutzhund/IPO (we are affiliated with the Battleborn Hundesport club), agility, rally-obedience, tracking and more! We enjoy any members interested in training their German Shepherd to come out and join us!

As a club, we enjoy weekly "Pack Walks" and gatherings, especially in the warmer months of the year. We enjoy walking through various local parks and hiking trails as a group, and we also attend events together such as fundraising walks and more! Gatherings and pack walks help promote the breed and give our valuable club members a chance to exercise, enjoy the company of other German Shepherd dog enthusiasts and work on obedience, socialization and any issues they may have in a safe, controlled environment!

We welcome reactive and aggressive dogs and encourage coming out on pack walks with us, as long as the owner is capable of proper management to avoid contact with other dogs. On our walks we ask that you keep your dog on a short leash and keep your dog from getting within touching distance of another dog. We want everyone to be safe and enjoy themselves, while giving troubled dogs the opportunity to enjoy safe exposure and socialization.
