Hey everyone. My 3 year old shepherd has been on Acana his whole life (grain allergies - hot spots, yeast ear infections, etc). Since we moved it's much harder for us to find Acana nearby and have to drive to the store by our old house to get it.
So, we decided to switch to something more accessible and settled on
Merrick Grain Free Real Buffalo & Sweet Potato since it can be found at Petco. It's only a little bit cheaper, and aside from dried egg product and pea protein have found no suspicious ingredients in the ingredient list.
I assume its a high quality dog food, but figured I'd ask the forum if there's anything I should know about Merrick and this food. Is there a reason why you _wouldn't_ feed this kibble to your dog? Please share if so! If there's a reason I should rethink switching to this food I'd love to hear your opinion or if you feed this to your dog please share your experience!
Thanks
