I give in at times as well or when I know that I will not be able to finish my food i'll just give the leftover piece(s) to the dogs, but other than that, I don't really agree with the idea of having to basically share your own meals with them. If they start begging, I just ignore them for the most part and make no eye contact or say "no" especially if they try to grab your food off the plate. My dogs have a tendency to steal your food if it's down near their level, unattended. I really wish other people wouldn't praise them for begging, I tell them all the time. *facepalm*
