At the forest preserve some idiots aggressive female boxer put some gashes into Berlins nose. He has a decent gash on the tip of his nose, and some scratch sized ones on the bridge. Is the E-vet necessary?????? Can this wait until my regular vet opens tomorrow???? Is this something that can be managed at home? They arent bad enough to need stitches, but they definitely will scar. Is bacitracin okay to put on it?? How should I clean this??
And don't even get me started on this guy and his dog.
Berlin was behaving himself and simply was sniffing the female. Nothing else. The guy ALSO tried to tell me she didnt bite him?!!!! That it could have been from a thorn bush?! UM HELLO! It wasnt there before this! Seriously. I cant stand ignorant people, who dont want to admit that their dog isn't socialized right and is dog aggressive. Keep your dog away from other dogs then. He's lucky my dog is raised well and didnt even bark at this boxer even AFTER being bitten. And I know he was bitten for a fact. She was right up in Berlin's face snapping and growling before he pulled his dog away.
