I guess to keep water available all the time, you should go with a water bottle. They make them 'dog size' for in kennels, etc. Just make sure that your pup knows how to get the water out of it. Showing the pup should work. I had a pup that did this. I just kept an eye on him and told him 'NO' every time. He stopped on his own. I've been worried that Grim was going to start this, because he'll take a drink then stare at the bowl as the water runs out of his mouth back into it. He hasn't started anything yet, though. I do always tell him "Don't play in the water!" So I don't know if that's why or not.
